I made a promise to myself to start posting on IG I made a promise to myself to start posting on IG each day. Well, it’s a photo dump kinda day because we are sitting waiting for an online GP to call us back in van because we all have school sores.

Yup, so fun! But this trip has been amazing but damn the stuff kids brings home really suck… so itchy!!!!
Like the fact there's no balance out here. None. J Like the fact there's no balance out here. None. Just picking, most days, what doesn't get done.

Now, the business itself runs while I'm not at the desk. That's the whole reason I built it on AI and systems instead of my own two hands. The engine sells while I'm at the beach with Toby. The dings on my phone while we're out fishing are real.

But it's not magic. There's still a day, maybe two, a week that has to actually happen. Me, laptop, brain switched on. And out here, in a van, no childcare, 4-year-old in tow, finding where those two days land is the bit nobody warns you about.

Which is how you end up working nights. Those free mornings with Toby? Not free. I paid for them at 11 the night before, sitting up in the van with the laptop while those two are asleep next to me.

And the one I didn't see coming. I miss the other business owners. Not Brad, not my mates back home, the people who actually get it. Who'd understand the weird bits without me explaining them. You can be surrounded by people you love and still be a bit lonely for the ones who speak the language.

Anyway. No neat bow on this one. That's just the trade.
for whoever needed to hear that. say them all out for whoever needed to hear that.

say them all out loud. 🤍

send this to the woman in your life who keeps saying she's not technical enough.
I use Claude every single day. And if you're openi I use Claude every single day. And if you're opening it up, typing "write me a caption," and posting what comes back, you are doing what they call AI Slop!!!

Because that's not using AI or being the CEO of AI. You're borrowing someone else's voice and hoping nobody notices and well thats just awkward!

You might be wondering how the hell are others using AI and it actually sounding good! I'll tell you the secret 🤫. The tool doesn't know you. It doesn't know how you talk, who you're talking to, what you believe, or the way you explain the thing you're brilliant at. So it does the only thing it can. It reaches for the average of the whole internet and hands it back to you. And the average is beige. "Unlock your potential." "Elevate your brand." You've read it a thousand times because everyone typing the same lazy prompt gets the same beige answer.

AI isn't the writer. It's the microphone. Your brain is the asset - and it's a big fucking asset and don't forget that! If you hand the microphone nothing, it amplifies nothing.

The women whose AI content actually sounds like them aren't better at prompting. They fed it first. Their voice, their stories, their audience, their opinions, the way they teach. Documented once, used forever. So now when they ask for a caption, the thing writes like them, not like the internet.
That's the whole difference. Naked AI writes like everyone. AI that knows you writes like you. Same tool. The only variable is how much of you it's got to work with.

So no, the question was never "should I use AI." That's settled. The question is whether the AI has enough of you in it to sound like you.

If your content sounds like a robot, it's not because you used AI. It's because you used it naked. Give it a brain first.
