After 6 months of maternity leave it is easy to compare how others are organised and ready for 2023 and I'm not.

But guess what, I'm okay with this.

Who was this person in the photo? It seems like a lifetime since that Lauren was around, and it is. It's my beautiful, amazing, loved son's lifetime.

It's been five months since I've become a mother and gosh it's been one hell of a journey. As I'm sitting here contemplating what the new year will look like from a personal and business level I look at this photo of the woman that was and miss her a little but am so proud of who she has become.

I'm excited to see the growth of what is to come, motherhood has given me the strength and confidence to step into some work I've wanted to finally.

I can't wait to share it soon.

Leading up to the start of IVF was pretty daunting

Leading up to the start of IVF was pretty daunting for me. I had never been to hospital, had a procedure or really needed anything more than a visit to the local GP.

So this month-long wait was interesting, I was constantly feeling anxious and a ball of nerves and I knew that I needed to come up with a way to concentrate on something else besides the loud ticking of the IVF alarm clock.

So I did the only thing a totally rational person would do, I planned my wedding.

It's been a long hot summer in Perth but today we are getting a moment of reprieve with a little rain and a cool breeze.

Hello Autumn, I've missed you

If I look back at 2021 I feel it was mostly spent

If I look back at 2021 I feel it was mostly spent in my fertility clinics office talking about the next step. Last year we started 4 rounds of IVF ( I'll be sharing the experience on my blog very soon.)

During this time I started to think about business and how it can fit better into my life, and how I can continue to serve clients but also have space to serve the family we were trying to build. So I started making changes by working with less clients and building multiple income streams to allow me to live more outside the office.

Now as I start to navigate how my future maternity leave and how my business is going to look I decided to simplify and upgrade my website to reflect these exciting changes. This was to allow me to build a smarter business and also to be able to outsource more of my business so I get more time snuggling Baby K when they arrive! In true Loz style it's actually been live since Monday but it's time to make this official.

There are many exciting extras getting added to this over the coming months but it's a start. As a recovering perfectionist I also need to remind myself that we don't need the perfect website to start promoting it so here it laurenjune.net is live!

You might have noticed I haven't been very active

You might have noticed I haven't been very active on IG recently (or you might not have!) but I have a very exciting reason.

After years of infertility and multiple IVF rounds we are over the moon to announce that Baby Krepp is coming this August. These past 15 weeks haven't been easy with morning or all day sickness kicking me in the butt, however I wouldn't change a thing <3

I'll share more on my new blog very soon, for now I think a nap might be in order!
